I’m a visual artist and educator living and working in London, UK. I have exhibited my work in solo and group shows in Europe, Japan and Brazil. I hold a Masters Degree in Fine Art from Camberwell College of Art, London and a BA Degree in Fine Art from ESAD, Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. In 2005 I was selected for the Bloomberg New Contemporaries Prize in the UK.
In 2012, I was the creator in residency at Tokyo Wonder Site, Tokyo and in 2015 artist in residence at FAAP, São Paulo. In London, I have worked extensively in the Art and Design Education Sector. Presently I’m the 4D Coordinator at Central Saint Martins where I’m heading up the Digital Media, Film, Animation, Cad and 3D departments. Previously I was a Coordinator for Photography, Print and Digital Media at Wimbledon College of Art. From 2004 to 2012 I was part of the Collection Care team at the Tate, where I worked on all major shows and collection displays at Tate Modern, Britain, St Ives and Liverpool as well as being the technical manager for the paper conservation in 2010/2011. I have collaborated with individual artists and institutions such as Matt’s Gallery, IMT Gallery, Multiplique Boutique in São Paulo, the artist duo Broomberg & Chanarin and the artist AVAF. I sit on the board of trustees of the London-based artist book publisher Book Works. I received grants from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon, Foundation Orient, Lisbon and Grants for the Arts, British Council, UK.
